This article covers MoonClerk's new dashboard design. If your account still uses the classic design, see the classic version of this article.
Disabling a form stops payers from checking out on it. It does not affect payments or recurring plans that already exist.
1) Find the form you would like to disable and open it in the builder (click the vertical ellipsis ⋮ next to it and choose Edit).
2) Scroll down to the Add-ons section and click its row to expand it, then click Availability.
3) Turn on "Stop accepting payments eventually," then click in the "Disable checkout on" field and choose today's date to disable the form right away. (You can also set a Successful checkout limit if you'd rather close the form automatically after a certain number of completed payments.)
4) Under "When it is closed," choose what payers see if they visit the form. They'll get the heading "Checkout Unavailable" either way; the default text below it reads "This checkout is no longer available." Choose Custom message to replace that sentence with your own.
5) Click Save at the top of the page, then click Publish so the change reaches your payers — on a live form, a saved change stays unpublished until you publish it. Once published, payers will not be able to check out on the form. You can always return and re-enable the form by choosing a date in the future or turning the toggle off, then saving and publishing again.
