What's new in the MoonClerk dashboard?

For accounts on the new MoonClerk dashboard design.

Written by Amitabh Tewari

Accounts created from September 2026 get MoonClerk's new dashboard design. Everything you need is still here — this is a quick map of where things live.

Video walkthrough

A two-minute tour of the dashboard: your last-30-days numbers, what needs attention today, payments, and plans.

Where things live

Your dashboard home opens with your business name and the numbers that matter for the last 30 days — payment volume, successful checkouts, active recurring plans, and anything that needs your attention — each with a line of context underneath. When a payment fails, Needs attention tells you whose payment it was and for how much; one click takes you to that payment with the Failed filter already applied.

The board is made of widgets — Key metrics, Stripe Balance & Payout, Needs attention, Cards expiring soon, Quick actions, Payment volume, Recent activity, and your Stripe payments and payouts. Click the ⋯ button next to Create Payment Form to show, hide, or reorder them. Your arrangement is saved for you personally, so a colleague on the same account keeps theirs.

The main navigation across the top holds Forms, Payments, Plans, Themes, and Coupons. MoonClerk's extensions — Digital Delivery, MoonClerk Pro for Mailchimp, and Crowdfunding — live in the Extensions menu.

The Account menu at the top right holds everything account-level: Activity, Notifications, Integrations, Payer Portal, Settings, Help, and Sign Out.

The Payment Forms page is built for accounts with a lot of forms: totals for the last 30 days sit above the list, status chips (Draft, Active, Disabled, and more) carry counts and filter the list with one click, and a Filter panel narrows by tag or created date. Search by name, sort by newest, busiest, or alphabetical, and switch between a list and a grid view — the view travels in the page's address, so a link you paste to a colleague opens exactly as you left it. The list starts with just the Name and Tags columns; you can add Status, Frequency, Amount, Payments, and Created and drag them into your own order, saved for you personally. The vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to each form holds Pin, Details, Edit, Preview, Use, Integrate, and Duplicate.

Creating and editing forms happens in a single-page builder — Basics and Amount first, then optional Payment methods, Add-ons, Confirmation, and Organization — with a live preview of your checkout page beside it. Save stores your work; Publish is a separate step, so nothing reaches your payers by accident.

Prefer the previous look? Under Account > Settings you can switch the dashboard design back to classic, and choose between the Modern, Classic, and Step by step form builders, at any time. The design switch is personal to you — it never changes what a colleague on the same account sees.
